PBDH – Portugal Blue Digital Hub

The Portugal Blue Digital Hub (PBDH) aims to promote the digital and environmental transition, stimulate entrepreneurship, develop new solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Big Data solutions, support the testing and demonstration of new solutions, promote the attraction of foreign investment and promote digital skills training in the Blue Economy sector.
Led by Fórum Oceano, the Portugal Blue Digital Hub (PBDH) brings together a consortium of 17 organisations, complemented by a supplier club of more than 30 organisations. The hub focuses on the use of AI-based technologies to digitise, decarbonise and ‘circularise’ processes and business models. Through its “Bluetech Testing Network”, PBDH connects a variety of ready-to-use digital and testing services to create an innovation ecosystem that promotes the twin transition (digital and environmental) of SMEs and public sector organisations in the Portuguese Blue Economy. This project, is co-funded by the Recovery and Resilience Programme (RRP) and by the European Union.
Within the PBDH, Magellan is the leader of WP8: Communication and Dissemination.
